Built in the 16th century, Provost Skene’s house is tucked away in the heart of Aberdeen between Broad Street and Flourmill Lane, easily located from Aberdeen Airport. This house has seen incredible amount of history and has been passed from owner to owner during its five hundred year history. Until it eventually ended up as the wonderful present-day museum.
There is much to see today in Provost Skene's house and it is interesting to wander around the house admiring the period settings from the 17th century right through to Edwardian times. When you have seen everything, there is even a café onsite serving tasty snacks. One of the nicest parts of this great little hideaway is that entry is free all year round.
