The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery
The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery first opened in 1807, in a building specially constructed to house all its collections. The museum moved when the university moved west to Gilmorehill to escape the pollution from the city.
The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery is the oldest public museum in the whole of Scotland and is spread out throughout Glasgow university's campus.
The museum features displays a collection of displays relating to William Hunter and Roman Scotland.

Springburn Museum
First opened in 1986, it became Glasgow's first independant community museum. Its collection displays a story of peoples memories of the rise and fall of a typical Glaswegian industrial community, through photographs, models, objects and graphics.
It houses exhibitions and events that reflect all aspects of past and present life of the community including; home life, steam locomotive technology and labour history, Co-operate society and youth clubs, they all have a home within the collection..
Gallery of Modern Art
The 'Gallery of Modern Art' is the second most visited art gallery outside London, offering an astounding programme of temporary exhibitions and workshops. The Gallery of Modern Art shows displays of work by local and international artists.
First opened in 1996, the Gallery of Modern Art is housed in an elegant, neo-classical building in the heart of Glasgow. The building is has been refurbished to accomodate the city's contemporary art collection and has been designed with a combination of new and old architecture.
