Tips & Advice
Flying from a UK airport? Thinking of parking at the airport?
Let Skyparksecure help you through the myriad of choices available to you.
The Skyparksecure website allows you to compare prices from 200 car parks at all airports across the U.K.
You can check availability, as well as book and pay using our secure online payment service.

Our tips:
1. Compare the cost of a taxi to and from the airport
Do a quick comparison of the airport parking cost compared to taking a taxi to and from the airport and you’ll be surprised by how cost effective parking at the airport can be. Most people find they can save half their taxi fare by booking their airport parking online. Add that with the convenience of driving your own car and the fact that you don’t have to rely on someone else to get you to the airport on time.
2. Avoid booking directly with the car park
Skyparksecure processes upwards of 10,000 airport bookings every month. As such, we negotiate bulk rates from the car parks and can often pass better prices onto our customers.
3. Book parking in advance
Not only will you save money (up to 60% cheaper than just turning up at the airport and paying at the gate), but you'll also save time as you will have a reserved parking space (during peak holiday periods, the majority of car parks are full).
4. Choose the right product
At each airport you will find a selection of car parks. There are many products to select from, so ensure you choose one that suits you - on airport, off airport, long-stay, short-stay, or a personal meet and greet service. If you are unsure check out the Skyparksecure ratings system for each car park, which is generated solely from reviews that our clients send to us about the car park that they have recently used.
5. Allow plenty of time
Always allow yourself extra time on top of your airport check-in time to drop your car off, especially if the car park is offsite and you need to catch a shuttle bus - you don't want to miss your flight!
6. Arriving home
Make sure you know where to go on your arrival at the airport to collect your car. If there's a shuttle bus, make note of where it will pick you up as it may be a different place to where it dropped you off.
If you follow the above guidelines, you won`t go far wrong!
