Ryanair has announced it will operate four new routes from Manchester Airport beginning in March this year.
The new Manchester routes will fly to Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Bologna.
The additional services will take the number of routes operated by Ryanair from Manchester Airport to 36.
The no thrills airline has also said more flights will be made available to passengers from Manchester Airport on five existing routes – Ibiza, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Malaga and Dublin.
Ryanair’s sales and marketing manager, Maria Macken said the additional flights will deliver 2.1 million passengers a year at the airport.
“Ryanair is pleased to deliver four new European routes to and from Manchester to Barcelona, Bologna, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, as well as increased frequencies on five existing routes, which will deliver more than 2.1m passengers per annum”, she added.
