United Airlines has been in the news again this week because of their treatment of a passenger’s pet dog.
A flight attendant demanded that Kokito and his carrier were stashed in the overhead compartment, rather than under the seat in front, as United’s policy states.
The woman eventually complied when threatened with removal from the plane. But when the aircraft landed, Kokito had sadly passed away.
Although the American airline has taken full responsibility for the death, it isn’t the first spot of trouble they’ve run into.
