Applications for under-18s must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"etias-cost\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Much Does ETIAS Cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ETIAS applications have a fee of \u20ac20. Travellers under 18 or over 70 are exempt from the fee but still have to apply. Family members of EU citizens are also exempt from payment <a href=\"https:\/\/travel-europe.europa.eu\/etias\/faq#exceptions-who-counts-as-family-member\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">under certain conditions<\/a>. However, until your application is accepted, it\u2019s best to stay organised and keep checking your inbox, just in case any information requests come through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"etias-ees\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is ETIAS the Same as EES?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No, they\u2019ll both be required to travel, but they\u2019re two separate systems. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyparksecure.com\/blog\/what-is-ees-entry-exit-system\/\">EES happens at the border<\/a>, where a facial photo and fingerprints will be taken at machines. For most travellers, this will be a passport. If you\u2019re <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyparksecure.com\/blog\/how-will-brexit-affect-my-holiday\/\">travelling on a passport<\/a>, it will generally need to be less than 10 years old and have at least 3\u20136 months&#8217; validity remaining, depending on your destination.
