Only 5 minutes walk from check in but 10 minutes from arrivals, glad it was fine and not raining. Finding a parking bay free and wide enough for my small car wasn't easy. When I came back my driver side was completely blocked in by a large electric vehicle. Had to squeeze in the passenger side and climb over. The bays are simply not wide enough for all these big motors now.

The barrier did not go up when we were trying to enter. We had to buzz and they said there was no record of our parking. We gave them the reference number and they let us in. We were told on the way back to go to meet and greet in case the same thing happened. Again the barrier did not go up and was told there was no record of our booking Booking process must have failed because EMA had no record of our booking

Arrival procedure for the Short Stay 3 at East Midlands Airport
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop.
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen.
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry.
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking.

Cancel Policy
You can cancel the Official East Midlands Airport Short Stay 3 contract by giving us at least 72 hours’ notice prior to the car park arrival time and date. Once the cancellation is confirmed you will receive email confirmation. Any bookings for an Official East Midlands Airport car park cancelled within 72 hours of the car park arrival date will not be refunded.
