Arrival Procedure for SMG Parking Park & Ride

Call the operations team approximately 20 minutes before your arrival. The operations line is available between 03:45 and 00:45 for flights landing before 23:55. Calls outside these hours cannot be answered.

On arrival, report to the car park reception and present your booking confirmation. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your last recommended check-in time.

You will be checked in, provided with a receipt, and transported to the terminal on the next available shuttle.

Please note: if you arrive more than 60 minutes outside your original booking time, a £20 rebooking fee applies, subject to availability. Arrivals more than 2 hours after your booked time may be treated as a no-show, with the booking cancelled and all monies forfeited.

Important: A charge of £2.50 per person each way is payable on arrival to cover airport levy fees. This charge is subject to change without prior notice.

Return Procedure for SMG Parking Park & Ride at London Stansted Airport

Once you have collected your luggage and are ready to leave the terminal, call the car park. The operator will direct you to the designated pick-up point for the next available shuttle.

If your return time changes, provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice. A £20 rebooking fee applies. Without sufficient notice, the car park cannot guarantee vehicle availability at your new return time and additional charges may apply.

Security Information

SMG Parking operates a fully fenced, CCTV-monitored car park with good illumination and regular night-time security patrols. All drivers are uniformed, carry ID, and are CRB checked, giving you complete confidence in the safety of your vehicle throughout your trip.

Disabled Facilities

• Airport levy fee: £2.50 per person each way, payable on arrival

• Oversized vehicle surcharge: from £40 for vehicles that exceed a standard UK parking space (4.8m x 2.4m)

• Overstay charge: £25 per day or part thereof, payable via bank transfer prior to your new return date

• Rebooking fee: £20 if you arrive or return more than 60 minutes outside your booked time
