Exactly as you would expect. Pay in advance, turn up, get in, park up, Catch shuttle. Go on your hols. Return, catch shuttle, return to car, drive out, home. Simple.

A good number plate recognition system making for smooth entry and exit. Reasonable sized parking bays. Our experience of the buses, was very positive on the way out one arrived quickly and on our return the bus was waiting just outside.

Jet2 car parking was Easy to find, car park was large and easy to access. All parking near bus pick up points which are numbered and parking spots alphabetised. Made coming back easy to find your car. Security cameras observed around parks too. Buses run every 10 to 15 mins so no real waiting for them. Overall a very good experience and would recommend.

Arrival procedure for the JetParks 2 car park at East Midlands airport
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop.
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen.
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry.
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking.
Once you've parked your vehicle proceed to the courtesy shuttle bus which runs 24 hours a day with a short 8 minute transfer time to the terminal.
Return procedure
A regular transfer bus serves the Shuttle Car Parks with buses departing from the Bus Interchange. On collecting your luggage, please proceed to the Arrivals area and follow the walkway between the Airport Information Desk and SPAR shop to the Bus Interchange. Buses are DDA compliant for disabled customers.

Cancel Policy
You can cancel the Official East Midlands Airport JetParks 2 contract by giving us at least 72 hours notice prior to the car park arrival time and date. Once the cancellation is confirmed you will receive email confirmation. Any bookings for an Official East Midlands Airport car park cancelled within 72 hours of the car park arrival date will not be refunded.
