EDI Flying Scot P&R
Waited in the pouring rain at stance 7 as instructedfor nearly 40 mins to be picked up. Phoned after waiting 10 mins - told bus on the way. No bus. Another customer phoned to be told bus on its way. Again no bus. Third customer phoned after 30 mins to be told bus on its way. The bus eventually arrived and then sat in the stance waiting for another 6 mins. Took well over an hour to get back to Flying Scot.

Check in was ok. Waited 40 minutes to get collected from my flight. Ended up calling to find out when the bus was arriving only to be told you have to call to let them know you were there. There was nothing to tell me that we had to and they said that it tells you on your ticket (which it doesn’t) when I eventually arrived back at their office I asked the guy where it says on the ticket about phoning he said this should have been written on the ticket when I checked in and that the day shift were a nightmare. Once they eventually found my key I asked where my car was and I was pointed to a row in pitch darkness and told it’s down there somewhere. Will not be using you again.

Arrival procedure for Edinburgh Flying Scot Park & Ride
On arrival simply park up and proceed to reception to give the details of your booking. Transfers to the airport are by courtesy shuttle taking approx 3 minutes, running at 15 minute intervals.
Return procedure
After you have collected you luggage and cleared customs please use the Flying Scot Courtesy phones inside the baggage reclaim (or at the main front doors) and use the Freephone number printed on the boards to call and advise the car park that you are ready for collection.
Make your way out to stand 5 in the coach park (where you were dropped off).
The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car.
Security
The Flying Scot car park is manned 24 Hours a day, has a CCTV system and Flood Lighting.
Overview
Flying Scot operates a convenient Park and Ride service which is located just on the outskirts of Edinburgh Airport.
Simply drive to the car park, park up and then head to the nearby reception area to present your booking confirmation.
You will then be taken to the airport terminal by the courtesy transfer bus, which takes just 3 minutes.
The Edinburgh Flying Scot park and ride car park benefits from electrified perimeter fencing, 24-hour security patrols, CCTV, security lighting and barriers.
Important Information
Car cleaning & valet service available on request when you arrive at the car park.
Steps must be used to access the minibus.
Vans, long wheel based or commercial vehicles are not accepted.
You are required to leave your keys.
