When we arrived the barrier wouldn't open. I had to walk across to the office to ask for it to be opened. After parking I discovered that our booking was not shown on the computer and because the trained receptionist had not turned up for work, the driver who was standing in did not know how to fix it. We left our paperwork with him and eventually went to the airport. Obviously the driver sitting in the office meant the shuttle service was reduced. Worse was to occur on return. I phoned as soon as we had our cases and walked outside. There was a bus at the stop but it drove off (less than half full) as we walked up. Over half an hour later a bus turned up which was not from Park and Fly but someone who was "helping out as they're busy". He didn't have any record of our names - in fact he only had one name but picked up several groups. At the car park, I went to the office to find out how to complain to be told I should sit down to help fill in a form. I wasn't prepared to complain about a poor service and delay by creating even more delay so left. One thing I was told at that time is that it's not an "on demand" service. What's the point of the phone call from the airport? What's the point of giving our name? What's the point of providing our flight number in the first place? An awful service and I won't make the same mistake again. The disappointment is doubled because I really thought this was a professional, efficient operation previously. Now it just looks like a cowboy operation.

Arrival procedure for the Park 'n' Fly car park at Glasgow Airport
On entry, approach the barrier (the system will recognise your number plate and automatically open) and park at the first available space. Then make your way to the pickup point for transfer to the airport.
Return procedure
On your return please call your driver then make your way to bus stop 5, located directly outside arrivals to take your transfer.
At the car park exit the barrier will open automatically.
